Launch of the coupling of the Bulgarian electricity market with the European Single Intraday Market

With regard to the upcoming joining of Bulgarian electricity market to the European Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange EAD (IBEX) would like to inform you about the changes in the trading process on November 19th 2019.
On 18th November 2019 the local products with delivery date 19th November will become visible and tradeable in the system as in any other regular session till now, but the market participants will be able to trade these products up to 11:00 CET on 19th of November.
Due to switch of the systems to the XBID products in the time slot 11:00 – 12:30 CET the local trading system will be inaccessible, in the time slot between 12:30- 14:00 CET the system will be accessible but trading will be set to halt and no active products will be visible.
At 14:00 CET on 19th November the XBID products will be visible in the system and the market participants, registered on IBEX will be able to trade them, but until the end of the day this will be only local trading and as per 00:00 CET on 20th November when cross-border capacities are available the market participants will be able to trade with all other SIDC market areas.
